The Gen-X Church
What can you expect from a bunch of slackers? A lot.

"Gen X never experienced major economic turmoil or the fear of global uncertainty— but on Sept. 11, 2001, they grew up."

Pretty true, although global uncertainty could describe the period before communism was assigned to the ash-heap of history.

"Gen X has shown a strong interest in connecting with the history of the Church. For instance, there is a renewed interest in many of the worship traditions of the Catholic Church but practiced with intense meaning and focus rather than rote memory."

True 'nuff.

"By contrast, Gen X—always having lived in the shadows of the most famous generation—will have more thoroughly reflected the true light of Jesus Christ through their authenticity, perseverance and conviction than any generation before them."

Well, one could hope.
