President Bush to visit Long Island as part of re-election campaign tour

"In the afternoon, President Bush will go to Eisenhower Park in East Meadow to participate in a 9/11 memorial groundbreaking ceremony. The president has kept the police shield of George Howard, a port authority officer from Long Island who perished in the terror attacks, as a reminder of all those who lost their lives in the 9/11 tragedy. George Howard's mother Arlene, who is from Hicksville, will be present at the ceremony."
