Cardinal Arinze has declared that Pro Multis must be translated as "for many" instead of "for all". In most languages this has always been so, but in English the translation was "for all" and from what I have read, the mis-translation was deliberate. So now that the correction was finally made, after almost 40 years, we can once again thank the traditionalist Catholics for making this an issue when so many others would have just ignored it. This is a nice first step - one thing corrected, about 35,000 more things to be done. Of course, if the words of the consecration were prayed in latin, none of this would have ever been an issue.
