My wife and I went to see Gran Torino yesterday and we both loved it. It was funny, heartbreaking, exciting, interesting and uplifting. I was expecting a more dramatic scene between the priest and the Clint Eastwood character but it went in a different direction from what I was expecting. The contrast between the immigrant family and Eastwood's family was portrayed nicely. This was an excellent film that was worth seeing in the theatre instead of waiting to Netflix.
